Northstar Village is a year-round destination centered on mountain life, community, and connection. This walkable village brings together shopping, gathering spaces, and activities set among towering pines and alpine terrain. In every season, the village offers opportunities to relax, explore, and enjoy the surrounding landscape, from winter recreation to summer trails and seasonal events. Northstar’s welcoming atmosphere makes it an easy and memorable stop for visitors of all ages.

Summer Music Series
Northstar hosts a summer music series featuring live music every Friday - Sunday starting mid-June with the opening of the mountain for summer operations and ending in September. The music series features a mix of local and regional acts and all performances take place on the ice rink stage in the heart of Northstar Village. Guests can roller skate while listening to music, or enjoy dining al fresco with outdoor seating at restaurants in the village. In total, we plan to host 48 event dates from June to September.
This music programming has existed in several different formats since 2011, but in recent years post-pandemic, Northstar has undertaken a concerted effort to standardize our music schedule to create dependable, no-cost source of entertainment for community members and visitors alike, and expand the lineup to appeal to a variety of backgrounds.
Northstar Midweek Music Series Hosted by Rubicon Pizza Company!
Rubicon provides Northstar guests with FREE LIVE MUSIC Monday-Thursday from 5:00PM - 8:00PM. The stage is located beside the Rubicon Patio directly adjacent to the skating rink which is the main artery of the Northstar Village. This centralized location allows the free entertainment to reach the maximum amount of people, creating an enjoyable atmosphere for everyone.
