The Kings Beach District (KBD) invites KBD businesses to join us for an informal gathering where you’ll have the opportunity to connect with fellow businesses, meet our committee and staff, and learn more about the work we’re doing to support and enhance the Kings Beach District. We want to hear directly from you, our business community, about your ideas, insights, and perspectives as you are instrumental as we continue to shape our priorities moving forward. Light refreshments will be provided.
Community Clean Up Day
Saturday, June 6, 2026 | 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
North Lake Tahoe’s 31st Annual Clean Up Days will take place on Saturday, June 6 AND Saturday, September 26, 9am-1pm, RAIN OR SHINE in Kings Beach, Tahoe Vista, and Carnelian Bay. Over 100 volunteers will take to the streets to pick up trash. Last year, over 1,500 pounds of trash was collected.
Music on the Beach Free Summer Concert Series
Fridays 6:00-8:30 p.m. June 19 – September 4 (excluding July 3 and August 7)
Get ready to dance — Music on the Beach is back with a full lineup of live performances for our 20th annual summer concert series! Kick off your 2026 weekends with free live music featuring a wide range of genres, all set against the stunning backdrop of North Lake Tahoe. Concerts happen every Friday evening at the Kings Beach State Recreation Area, with music beginning at 6:30pm.
Music on the Beach, Lights in the Sky!
We are excited to announce that our 2025 Music on the Beach, Lights in the Sky event will take place on Friday, August 29, from 6:00 to 9:30 p.m. Music will begin at 6:30 p.m., and the drone show will follow at 9:00 p.m. We are excited to have Jelly Bread as our band for the evening to close out our 19th annual Music on the Beach Series and Sky Elements Drone Company to light up our beautiful Lake Tahoe skies with 300 Drones!

Kings Beach District SNOWFEST Parade

One of North Lake Tahoe’s favorite winter traditions, the Kings Beach SNOWFEST Parade brings our amazing community together for a fun-filled celebration in downtown Kings Beach. With colorful floats, costumed crews, and live music from more than 30 local organizations and businesses, this is North Tahoe small-town magic at its best. Everyone is encouraged to spend the day in Kings Beach for Snowfest activities and events.
